Women of the Well

Women of the Well is a collaborative group of nine area non-profit organizations that primarily serve women and children. The group is organizing a luncheon that will be held Oct. 8, 2008. The luncheon is the sole annual event for Women of the Well and it is very important to the organization as both a fundraiser and “friend-raiser.” Mallory Rusch of the Center for Women in Transition is coordinating the luncheon and is looking for one or two PR professionals who would be willing to lead a publicity sub-committee for the event. Planning meetings are held monthly. Ideally, the volunteer should be able to attend the meetings regularly. Presently, Rusch is the only person working on the event with PR experience and could use some help. If you are interested, please call Mallory at (314) 771-5207.
