Participation Criteria - Students

Southern Illinois University Carbondale students who have met the PRSSA membership requirements are eligible to participate in the PRSA/PRSSA mentorship program. Participants must be active members in good standing with the organization. Their rights to participate can be revoked for failure to comply with membership guidelines set forth by the organization or conduct resulting in discredit to the organization.

Students participating in this program represent SIUC and are encouraged to listen and learn from public relations professionals through this program. This program is geared to provide students with career advice and real-world knowledge from public relations practitioners. This program is not intended to serve as a job placement service. Therefore, students are encouraged to contact mentors via e-mail only. With this in mind, the phone number and address of participating mentors will not be made available to the student.
