Want a little more insight on our Aug. 19, 2004 Feature Editors/Producers Panel? Here's the scoop:
Amy Fenster Amy Fenster is the senior producer of Show-Me St. Louis at KSDK-TV (Channel 5). She also is a contributing writer to US Weekly magazine as a member of the "Fashion Police." Amy can be heard on Thursday mornings on Y-98 FM dishing and discussing US Weekly's latest celebrity gossip. She also writes on a freelance basis for several publications. Amy has worked as the medical news producer at KMOV-TV (Channel 4); held several positions at ABC-30 (KDNL-TV), including assignment editor, associate producer and executive promotions producer; worked on-air as the "Dating Diva" on 105.7-FM (KPNT-FM -- the Point)'s morning show, and co-hosted a talk show on 97.1 FM.
Elaine Grant Elaine Grant is editor of St. Louis Magazine, a monthly lifestyle magazine dedicated to bringing readers a fascinating, honest and informative look at the city's past, present and future. Before joining St. Louis Magazine in April 2002, Elaine was an aviation reporter for BridgeNews in Creve Coeur. She attended Connecticut College and spent nine years as a magazine writer and editor in New York City before moving to St. Louis in 2000.
Joe Holleman Born and reared in south St. Louis, Joe Holleman is a product of local schools -- Vianney High and the University of Missouri at St. Louis. He began his career in radio news, working for several small radio stations in southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. He switched to newspaper reporting in 1984. Joe joined the staff of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 1989 and was assigned to municipal politics, courts and police beats in the Metro News department before switching to the features section in 1998. As a feature writer, Joe has focused mainly on personality profiles and film reviews. Joe also is a regular guest on KMOX's "The John Carney Show" and formerly was the movie critic for KMOV-TV. ABC KDNL-TV (KDNL-TV).
Chris Mihill Prior to becoming executive producer for KMOX Radio’s Total Information AM in January of 2002, Chris Mihill was executive producer for the mid-morning show “The Morning Meeting with Charles Brennan” between 1996-2001. During that time he also produced “The KMOX Evening Special” with rotating hosts Jack Buck, Bob Costas, and Ray Hartmann. He has produced over 50 live remote shows with such wide-ranging guests as comedian George Carlin to Pulitzer prize-winning historian David McCullough. In addition, Chris Mihill has been the producer and director of the “KMOX Holiday Radio Show,” a yearly live music and play production.
