Christopher Boyce covers the business of commercial construction and real estate and transportation for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He has been with the paper since 2006 and, in that time, has also covered small business, the auto industry and other manufacturing. Prior to coming to St. Louis, he spent two years as a business reporter for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer in Columbus, Georgia. His accomplishments there included awards from the Associated Press and the Georgia Press Association for his coverage of insurance giant Aflac. Boyce has a bachelor's of science in journalism from the University of Illinois and is a native Chicagoan.
Joe Dwyer is managing editor of the St. Louis Business Journal. A graduate of St. Louis University, he joined the Business Journal in 1988 as a reporter. After seven years as a reporter, he was named associate editor and, in 1997, was named managing editor. As managing editor, Dwyer coordinates a staff of seven reporters and two researchers.
Sean McLaughlin is the executive news director for KMOV in St. Louis. He has held this position since July 2007. Prior to joining KMOV, McLaughlin held news director positions at KTUL and KOKI in Tulsa, Okla., and WICS in Springfield, Ill. Before getting into news management, he was on the other side of the camera as a reporter/anchor. McLaughlin is a graduate of Minnesota State University and lives in St. Louis with his wife and two young boys.
Jim Salter has been with The Associated Press for 15 years, all in St. Louis. He has been the correspondent in charge of the St. Louis office since 1997. Before that, Salter worked for newspapers in Missouri and Iowa. He is a native of Hannibal, Mo. Salter and his wife, Kathy, have three children, Daniel, Tyler and Emily.
