Wiley chapter (Southern Illinois University-Carbondale) of PRSSA. In 1987 and again in 1989, Pyramid was honored as the outstanding student-run agency in the country by PRSSA. In 2004, chapter leaders developed the firm as a separate entity. Since then, the firm has had an average of 15 to 20 employees every semester, serving an average of three to five clients in the southern Illinois community. Pyramid is seeking certification from PRSA through PRSA-St. Louis as a “Nationally Affiliated PRSSA student-run firm.” There are only 11 others in the country with this affiliation. 5) St. Louis Media Halls of FameThe Third Annual St. Louis Media Halls of Fame Gala, honoring St. Louis media professionals in print, public relations/advertising, radio and television, is set for 6:30 p.m., June 7, 2008, at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel.
