Our Newest APR
2008 Accreditation Chair Michelle Yates (left) congratulates our chapter's newest APR (Accredited in Public Relations) member Tina Carroll of Magellean Health Services. Carroll was awarded her APR pin at the March chapter luncheon. She becomes the 37th St. Louis Chapter member to have earned the distinction in a membership out of nearly 325 members. Two of our newest Chapter members are (left) Rachel Kaatmann and Mallory Rusch" Our Chapter's next new member orientation class will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 16 at Ces & Judy's in Frontenac, just prior to our April luncheon (see Programs also). The session, headed by former chapter president Jeff Waldman, is for our newest members but open to prospective members as well as those who may have joined recently but have not had a chance to learn more about the chapter, leadership and opportunities. What Others Are DoingCSPRC's annual conference - Spectrum 2008The Community Service Public Relations Council (CSPRC), will hold its annual conference, Spectrum 2008, May 6, 2008 at the Viking Conference Center, 10709 Watson Road, just off I-44 and Lindbergh. Described as St. Louis' only conference designed exclusively for nonprofit professionals, the day-long conference includes: - Four tracks and sessions of interest to a variety of nonprofit staff: executive directors/board members, development staff, marketing/public relations staff, "newbies" to nonprofit
- Keynote speaker and a luncheon speaker
- Opportunity to talk with local mediaF
