What's in this issue?
1) The Ethics ForumIn the spirit of the original forums, Saint Louis University's Emerson Ethics Center will present a series of leading edge, public dialogues, Thursday, Oct. 4, around critical issues facing St. Louis, the nation and beyond. The launch event in the series will focus on how business can impact individual quality of life, and shape civic development in our communities through engaged corporate citizenship. The program will feature keynote presentations from:
The program will include an interactive panel discussion to allow participants to engage with the panel of experts on the theme of the Forum. Registration includes parking and a full breakfast.
To register, go here or call (314) 977-3836 for more information. Sponsored by Emerson and St. Louis Business Journal. - Denise Bentele, PRSA-St. Louis Ethics Chair Faces in the Crowd at our September Luncheon with Rob Amberg
2) St. Louis Media Halls of Fame ballotThis year the St. Louis Media Halls of Fame is distributing ballots to members of the advertising/public relations community asking that these professionals vote on the next inductees into the advertising and public relations hall. The organization would very much like to have members and friends of PRSA-St. Louis to cast ballots since they are in the best position to determine who is most worthy of election. If you wish to receive a ballot in the mail, e-mail your request to their office via Cindy Vantine. If you have questions you may call (314) 664-5355. - Frank Absher, St. Louis Media Halls of Fame 3) Say Hello to These New Chapter Members

4) Job Bank, Volunteer Opportunities, MentoringWhether you are a member of the St. Louis Chapter of PRSA or considering becoming a member, we welcome you to take a look at our Job Bank and Volunteer Opportunities. And check these pages periodically as they change frequently. Also, if you are interested in being an online mentor to some of our area college and university PR students, contact our Student Relations chair Michelle Mason. During the school year many area students attend our lunches, some for class credit and others to network to eventually join the professional ranks here or elsewhere. We currently have a waiting list of students for the tutoring program. E-mail Michelle or call her at (314) 569-7100 for more information or to get involved. 5) Meet Our Newest Chapter APRs
