1) Glover to bring special touch to Year-End luncheon A holiday treat is in store at our December luncheon meeting. Is he an attorney? Is he a radio show host? Is he the leader of one of the area's most popular bands? The answer is yes. And yes. And yes. Dave Glover, who probably is best known as the host of the afternoon drive show on Talk 97 FM, will be joining us on Tuesday, Dec. 14, for a little holiday cheer and to share his unique insights on how to achieve your dreams. And who knows...the St. Louis native may try to explain the city's preoccupation with high school and love for very thin crust pizza. See Following Your Dream for registration information, menu options and to sign up.
2) Now is the best time to Join PRSA The statement above is always true. But even more so now. Join PRSA and the PRSA-St. Louis chapter with a full membership before the end of November and you'll get the following: 1) A free year's membership in one of PRSA National's Professional Interest Sections (17 of them including Association, Employee Communications, Independent Practitioner Alliance, Public Affairs/Government and Strategic Social Responsibility). That's a $45-$60 savings depending upon your selection. 2) Be able to join the St. Louis chapter for the annual dues of $35 - a $15 savings as chapter dues will increase Jan. 2, 2005. You'll be able to attend the December Year-end luncheon at a special reduced rate - a $15 savings over the non-member rate. See what we mean. Check out more on our Membership page. Download the special (PDF) "Oct-Nov 2004 Special App" on that page. And mail it to PRSA-St. Louis, 405 Maple Leaf Ct., Manchester, MO 63021 with your check(s) or credit card information. Now really is the best time to join PRSA.
