 PRSA St. Louis Running Strong
While the effects of the economy from before Sept. 11, 2001 still had companies watching their expenditures through the end of 2002, PRSA St. Louis has held strong. Thirty-seven new members joined in 2002, not including several transfers - at least a half dozen who have their APRs. In addition 21 had their memberships reinstated after dropping out of PRSA for a period of time. Our losses, several due to company cutbacks in staff or expenditures for continuing education or professional development, numbered 31. And a handful of those were moves outside the area. Recruit-a-New Member Campaign Extended
Recruit a new member to PRSA between now and Feb. 15, 2003 and not only do you introduce them to the benefits of PRSA membership, but you are eligible to win prizes, including round-trip airline tickets, travel vouchers and other items. Every member who recruits new members will also automatically earn "PRSA Dollars," valid for PRSA's National programs, services or publications. New members receive a gift too - when they join as part of this offer, PRSA will waive the $65 initiation fee. Chapters that recruit the most new members are also winners - they receive funds to apply towards professional development programs and the Leadership Rally, and other gifts of PRSA merchandise. (This applies to full memberships, only.) Visit MemberNet and You Could Be a Winner

It's Blue Book time again! PRSA is producing its Blue Book Membership Directory, which will be mailed to members at the end of the first quarter, and we want to be sure we have the most current and complete contact information for your listing. We need your help so you can guarantee the accuracy of your listing.  International Conference Set; Presenters Sought
