Educates membership on the value of “giving back” to the community, offers members outreach opportunities, and announces community outreach achievements and lists them on Chapter website.

Chair

Amy Bradshaw - Amy Bradshaw is a vice president for the marketing communications group at Fleishman-Hillard where she provides strategic counsel and national media relations expertise for numerous agency clients in a variety of sectors, from transportation and telecommunications to energy and legal services. She  also specializes in developing and promoting clients’ sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts and serves as a member of Fleishman-Hillard’s global sustainability practice group. Prior to agency life, Bradshaw worked in the non-profit arena, managing comprehensive communications, marketing and corporate fundraising programs for The Nature Conservancy, an international conservation organization, and William Woods University in Fulton, Mo.  She holds a master of arts degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelor of arts degree in English communications from William Woods University.

Elissa Plastino - A former journalist, Elissa Plastino has more than a decade of experience in public relations working in government and corporate PR. She was previously the media/public information manager for Mississippi State Hospital near Jackson, Miss., the country’s largest state-funded psychiatric facility, where she was responsible for strategic planning, employee communications, media relations and maintaining the hospital’s intranet and Internet sites.  As corporate brand manager for Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., she is involved with public relations, advertising and brand management for seven casino properties in four states and a new casino project in Cape Girardeau, Mo.; as well as several corporate-wide marketing initiatives. Plastino volunteers with the American Cancer Society as an annual media awards judge for the High Plains Division, and team captain of the Relay For Life of West County; and with HavenHouse St. Louis. In addition to PRSA, she is also an active member of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
