Abby Carr

Abby Gouverneur Carr is a managing director of the New York City firm BlissPR (formerly Bliss, Gouverneur & Associates). Her firm specializes in marketing public relations for financial services and professional services organizations, has a staff of 32 and revenues of $4.6 million. In her 26 years at the firm, she has served as lead partner for many of the firm’s major clients, including MetLife, KeyCorp, Deloitte, Towers Perrin and the American Institute of CPAs. She is an active member of the Council of PR Firms and currently chairs its leadership and governance committee. She is also a member of the Women’s Investment Management Forum. Abby graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 1982. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and three young children.
