Pro-Am Day Returns Feb. 19; New PRSA National CEO Headlines Event
The traditional PRSA-St. Louis Pro-Am Day, a day-long program, which in years past has been held on the Saint Louis University campus, returns Feb. 19 to a new site - Maryville University's west county campus at I-64 and Hwy 141. The annual Pro-Am Day luncheon, our monthly chapter event, will feature new PRSA National CEO/Chair Gary McCormick on "A Tale of Two Sides – The Future of PR." . St. Louis area public relations professionals are invited to assist with panels throughout the day or to review resumes with visiting students following the luncheon. An audience of 170 professionl communicators were on hand, Nov. 19, at the Crowne Plaza St. Louis - Clayton to hear John A Byrne, editor-in-chief of BusinessWeek.com and executive editor of BusinessWeek magazine, speak at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the PRSA-St. Louis chapter.
